getting a BD in a trailer

Whats the best way to get one of these bikes in a trailer that sits a little higher?
One of my riding friends has one of the 2 bike trailers with living quarters and its sits pretty low but my k9 will not make it in.

I'm guessing someone on here has some pretty good ideas.
Also has anyone put a dog in a tow hauler? the ramps on these things are a lot steeper

Raise the nose of the trailer as high as you can get it, either thru blocks under the jack of by driving the rear tires of the tow rig up some ramps (trailer hooked to the truck of course. If that is not enough, then you will need to add length to the ramp.

GM has a "How-To" on strapping down his bike in a U-Haul. I use one whenever I have to take my bike to the dealer when it's broke down. They work great but you will still scrape the frame on the tailgate.
As for the toy hauler get a piece of 2x12 to extend the ramp some.

Place some boards under the end of the ramp...after you have raised the tongue (knotso advice) as high as possible...If your bike still bottoms out you can add more boards once the front tire is on the trailer portion...

You can also back up to a slope to drop the ramp, or may have to build a load ramp of sorts.

Most ppl I know in our atv group have lifted trailers and several are so steep that riding the quads up have produced flip over backwards.

Not the easiest idea but if you have 2 others standing around. Roll the bike in as far as you can. 1 man to stabalize the front, 2 men to pick up the back and push her in.
I've pulled my back out of shape doing this a bunch of times :2thumbs:

Easiest with 3 people, two to stabalize the rear (one on the seat/rear brake and another in back), and one to pick the front end up by the forks. much easier than trying to pick up the rear

I have a block of wood about 8" high that I put under the tongue jack... jack the trailer right up in the front... lessens the angle of the ramp. Also, if you have a driveway that is slanted... sometimes you can park the trailer in the street and the ramp will lay with alot less angle.

Or you can sit on it... with the front wheel in.. have 2 guys pick up each side of the ramp gate and go in... just like you USE to see OCC do.

I bought ramp ends at wal-mart that u bolt to a 2 by 6 cut 2 length ride the dog in, through ram board in,on you're way.

Thanks his trailer has a auto jack for the tongue so I think a big block should work if it wont go up high enough
