Is there anything else I could have jacked by loosening the clutch cover?

I just loosened it enough to get the starter out...... clutch lever was soft.
tightened cover up and lever was tight again. .....now it barely makes neutral and won't shift out of 1st gear on the road.
Adjusted clutch but same same!

Thanks Mike....I redo the procedure again... Last time I lost a bearing out of a ramp the lever was harder to pull...feels normal to me.

Set the ramp and balls...reinstalled the cover, adjusted the rod......almost tight on the lever I gave it a pull...felt like it slipped a bit when I pulled it.....so I tightened my lever up a bit more.
Reached down and cranked on the shifter and it broke free and started shifting correctly.
So far so good ..it will shift into second but occasionally wants to slip back into neutral.
Ima try adjusting again.....

I adjusted using plan B...Tanks Mike...shifting pretty good, .time for a test run.

Pulled the torque cones...Adjusted the clutch for the fifth time....Flawless!

What a screamer!
