Starter washer

Ive had this Chop apart waay to many times dicking with the starter. First the locktab mangled itself. Then I didnt torque the 1/4 bolt enough or so I thought. Next it was the spring behind the snap-ring creeping out. I think the problem started with this silly washer. It goes behind the locktab. Its so chewed up and will not sit flat. Now the problem is where to find a replacement? Anyone? Bueller, Bueller?

Instead of buying the whole 75.00 kit I found this on ebay

I saw the same kit on J&P for 14.99!
Ima call the HD shop in a bit. See if they by chance have just the washer?

The more I thought about it the more ur idea made sense Knot. Bought the kit, I'll put it in and put this to bed.

Well, back to square 1. Got the repair kit in from BDM. What do ya know...it was wrong. Listed as 99-04. I got an RSD set. So tired of dealing with them. Never again. Ordered the correct set from J&P. Couple bucks more but I'd bet its right.

They should have listed it right...this is not the first time I seen them.list stuff wrong but you would think something that simple they could
