Most likely as Mleach stated just need a clutch pushrod adjustment or cable adjustment ..you should have about a 3/32 gap in the clutch lever when the clutch lever is released. The gap I'm talking about is where the lever comes in contact with the control body where the cable is...should be just a little slack there...if you have more than that then you will have clutch drag and that will.cause it not to get into neutral...so check the gap first before going further....if you cant adjust the cable to make it go into gear then loosen the cable all the way and then adjust the clutch pushrod... the clutch push rod has a jam nut on it...loosen the jam nut. ..once loosen you can take you finger and turn the clutch pushrod... turn the clutch pushrod clockwise until you feel I slight contact...back the pushrod up 1/4 of a turn with a allen wrench...hold the pushrod still and tighten the jam nut...once you tighten the jam nut then go to the cable and adjust the cable...if this doesn't work let us know and we will go further into what the problem might be.
Some people are going to say clutch hub nut maybe loose but that's highly unlikely with your year model...just let us know the adjustment above helps or not..if not then we will go further
