Aren’t those Chinese tires? I know in the past that rubber from china sucks. My tractor dealer talked me into buying a new Chinese tractor he had started carrying and all the hoses , lines , tires all started falling within weeks then the tie rod broke in half for no reason. Other stuff was inferior also. Long story short he gave me all my money back and stopped selling these shit tractors. Buy Chinese if you want to
What Tractor?

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
Due to local new home construction in my neighborhood, I had 2 flat rear tires in one week on my K9. The second one had an extremely slow leak and my wife had a fit and demanded i buy a new one. OK! I sez. Got on line and was shocked to see the 300’s selling for north of $500. Wanted to buy Avon or Metzler, but the Shinko was delivered in 2 days by Chap-Moto. When Avons weren’t available, I’ve used Shinko and found them to be as good as the competition and in this case, about half the price. Date stamp sez 1824, and I plan to wear it out ASAP.

I can't help but wonder how old the tires were that I bought for HD's back in the 60's. I do believe that the date is a good thing but also believe it depends on storage, climate, usage, tire pressure etc.

Thanks All for your input.

Ever wonder how old some of the food we ate was before they started the best by date requirement? :)

You are right Harry. I remember one time I was driving my camper and was eating donuts. I dropped one and it rolled under the seat. I forgot about it. A couple years later I found it. No mold or bugs. Makes you wonder why they won't eat it. Scary!
