Energy One

So it’s time, for the past 5 years this thing has just sat. About a year ago I did a complete tear down, repainted all the tins, new rings and had the heads redone again. Engine has been bored over and the heads are spun dropped so they sit in the jugs. Basically engine has been redone as if it was a crate engine from S&S according to their specs aside from it being bored out with Carillo pistons. That was done because the jugs were oblong. Anyways, did this complete rebuild and it lasted about 5 rides (300) miles give or take. The transmission went sideways and blew the seal. I spoke with Curtis and sent him pics and he said it’s a simple fix, just haven’t had the time or energy for it. So if I fix it, I’m asking 12k, if I don’t I’m asking 9500. As a lot of you know who have seen this bike in person, it’s hardwired to get rid of any ehc nonsense with vintage Harley controls and drag bars. Tires have 300 miles on them as well. Let me know…. I totally understand. I dont have time to ride much anymore either...I ride everyone's else's bike i work on but not mine lol
It’s not really that I don’t have time anymore because believe you me, how I used to ride and love it so much I would make time, population has became rediculous and just don’t feel safe. And all I can think about is my buddy Eric and his accident and I’m not trying to be there lol

I get it. My best friend got a bike after seeing how much I enjoyed mine. Less than 6 months later a young lady turned in front of him and he nearly died but after 6 months of inpatient rehabilitation in Atlanta he could kind of walk with assistance but mostly in a wheelchair. 2 years later he sadly passed away. He was 10 years younger than I am. He had rode dirt bikes growing up and had rode periodically as an adult so he wasn’t new. It sucks but it happens. I learned you can’t enjoy your life if you live in fear. You can get hit by a bus crossing the street. Enjoy your life while you can and be right with the lord because you never know when you’re going to check out. Why deny yourself something you enjoy because of what might happen. Enjoy what you have control over and give God the rest. Best wishes

I used to drive this bike all over the country, it was the most reliable thing anyone with a custom bike could ask for. But never touched the transmission when I redid my engine. And the only reason I did my engine is because of the notorious ticking from the rocker boxes and I figured I had it open why not take it back to what S&S designed it to be before Bigdog put them on these with all the regulations.

Yeah, I rode this bike from Houston to Dallas to Kansas, the second one I trailered to Dallas and then rode to Kansas, but yeah I’ve taken this bike to the Grand Canyon, Colorado, Florida for Daytona bike week… all trips I’ve rode
