Sounds like your trying for more power than the motor will handle? Any recent motor builds? Did they skip the head work? Seem a bit sus that u would lose 2 that quick? Holler @ Curtis, he is down in Vally Center. Wild Steed Worx.

Now would be a great time to upgrade to s&s heads and rocket boxes. But I would do the bottom half too. Cam is a must do. Sure it’s some $$ but would be so much better and hey. Nice ain’t cheap and cheap ain’t nice

I don’t actually see how that is possible…. I mean if you drop a valve you ain’t going to have your top end tore down and everything swapped out in a week. I mean I just don’t realistically see that happening. Perhaps if you owned your own machine shop. But most of us don’t have that and still you would want to check everything else before putting the engine back in use… can’t wait to hear the follow up on this deal.

This guy has given no information other than what is to me completely unbelievable… I am thinking it would be nearly impossible to drop a valve in both cylinders in a weeks time… just my opinion mind you

Change the lifters change the push rods pistons rings and only we did one head

First thing, before anything else. What mods have been done to the engine, if any ? Do you know? You may find an answer there. Has anyone "Tinkered" with the engine ? If the above answers sounds OK, then systematically, start disassembley slowly, checking each item slowly.
If this is above your experience level, get someone who's familiar with the type of engine involved, and has that experience.
Anything different, you would be pissing in the wind. DIAGNOSES, before a pile of parts.

TP heads, can be made to work. I came up with a GEOMETRY fix, that I used on the "Camel Showbikes", back in the day. Curtis, should have plates, to correct the TP geometry.
