I have no idea what it costs... but would be worth it after lots of stop and go clutch action on my '06 Pit.

I paid $387 installed for mine (2 hours labor, Soft Pull clutch kit ($220) and miscellaneous parts and shop supplies).

The pull is extremely light and takes some time to get used to. I haven't tried it in stop and go traffic yet.

This would not be a problem if the clutch was on the right side...

I'm told the kit is $250 plus labor. I don't understand why anybody would do this when you can get a better, softer pulling clutch from Bandit for $300. Not even close in my opinion or experience.

My Mastiff was in the shop getting the EHC replaced at the time, so why not take advantage of the down time?

I totally agree although whether the pull is softer depends on how you set it up. Mine is a lot harder with my Bandit set up with 2 shims on each spring

I was told that the BDM soft pull had "slip" built into to it... Softer Springs

I didn't really look into it at all, and was also told that I would "really feel the difference down low" with torque cones. :job:

All the 08s have the soft pull clutch, you can go by and check them out at the showroom - of course, that could lead to wanting to buy an 08 - be carefull!
I would like to do this this fall - I have wrist/elbow conditions and the softer pull would make a big difference in my ride.

I have only had my 06 Pit for a week and a half, I have put almost 1000 miles on it already. Anyway, the clutch is wearing my ass out. Is there any adjustments that can be made on the stock clutch to ease up the lever?

not really - just make sure you keep it properly adjusted and regularly lubed
