I just wanted to find out what everyone has been talking about with the Deka ETX20L battery. I just put it in and the bike turns over faster than ever has. My Digital Dakota speedometer and dash lights are very bright. I'm impressed. I'm glad I made the change.
I just ordered another one yesterday to put in my Vintage Classic. Found out yesterday that the duralast that’s in there is on its way out. I have them on all my other bikes. Gr8 batteries!

Looks good! :chopper:
It fixed the issue of it not running right...I haven't rode it yet all I have done is cranked it up 4 times lol...but I believe it fixed it...hell had it 2 weeks and haven't had time to ride it yet at all, actually haven't never rode it ever yet..that's pitiful I know...I got a shop full of bikes to work on so that's where I been spending any free time

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in any of the other forums, but here's a tip for you guys that like the Deka ETX20L battery....the Duracell EXT20L is the exact same battery. It's made by East Penn Manufacturing and branded for Duracell, and it's available at Sam's Club. It will save you the hassle of trying to hunt down a Deka branded battery - just run down to your local Sam's club and grab the Duracell brand. I've had mine over 3 years now without any problems (keep it on the battery tender).

I just had one shipped in from California and the total was $125, closest Sams is 50 miles away.

That works also, whatever is most convenient for the location. East Penn also has 90 warehouse/distribution sites around the country, so there are multiple options if this is the battery of choice. I am curious, how was the manuf. date on the battery you ordered...were you satisfied that it was recent? And no core charge either...I hope that you will responsibly recycle your old battery. ;)
