Switch key to on, no power.... nothing

Energy One
Pulled dog out for a ride today, 2007 K9. Switched on, powered up, turned engine over a few times, never cranked it, switched off. Grabbed helmet, etc 15 min later went to start again, click-click, flashers on, would not turn over. Checked battery voltage 13 volts. Removed battery carried to Advance Auto. Numbers were good but tester said replace battery. Ordered a Deka etx20L. Installed battery back in after charging with 13 volts until new one arrives, now I have nothing when I switch on, zero. EHC, Speedometer nothing comes on. Cleaned connections, re connected still nothing. Possible switch issue? Is there a flow chart available for troubleshooting electrical problems? Everything is stock except on/ off switch and speedometer.

This is a troubleshooting guide that may help you in the future . Do as Mr. Wright suggested and do not push the issue with your bad battery , it can only lead to worse problems. These bikes need strong healthy batteries. Just be patient .

I would also check the switch (since that was a change) getting power across...but starting easy check the fuse and/or breaker.
