Does a typical hair dryer produce enough heat to shrink the shrink wrap used to waterproof the connectors???

I tried a hair blower and it did' work for me, I guess I didn't have the patience so I use a lighter (just don't get the flame to close) I finally broke down and got me a heat shrink gun works great :2thumbs: :whoop:

Hair dryer depends on the setting. I use a torch and caution....

Heat gun's at HArbor Freight. On sale they are 9.99. They work fine for shrink wrap, get the one with two different heat settings.

That's what I got... works great. However, when I done my shrink wrap thread I used the wife's hair dryer.
