I have a new upgraded charging system on my 04 Chop (new battery and new ECH). The tach was acting prior to me having the charging system upgraded and had issues with the RPM and turn signal lights). The tach is still having issues (RPM doesn't work and the oil and turn signal lights stay on all the time). I removed the tack and bought a new gauge to install. My question is ... do I buy a completely new tach (the aluminum ring included)? Or can I just get a new electronic green panel and keep my aluminum ring for the new electronics? I know everyone has gone through this issue!

You need a new annuciator for the 04. I've had to replace mine on my 08 K-9.
