It does take some elbow grease. I just did a small spot quick to see if it was worth a hoot. It turns blacker the more you polish just like the Mothers. With the motor out, the Chopper gonna get a good polish. I'll update after some serious work.
I went to Harbour Freight and Northern Tool and purchased 1/4 inch shank polishing attachments for my drill. Works good. Also, bought a flex shaft that will take the 1/4 inch shaft attachments. The bad thing about the flex shafts you have to use them on a low speed and they produce too high RPM's. They have a foot peddle to activate the speed. They do have a screw adjustment to lower the speed. I'm trying to get used to it at a low speed. It allows me to get into tight spaces on the rear wheel where my drill won't go. But I got to say nothing beats a hand job. I haven't found a good way to polish the fins on the jugs. It's just a time and tedious task but I have spent many days doing it.

I just polished every fin on jugs & heads on my chopper.. I tried the videos way & I liked the drilled/ with rotating sanding wheels. Also the fins are not all polished inside you have to sand them down. Pics in my top end rebuild thread.

Mothers web site has 30% off with discount code and free shipping for orders over $39. I bought 2 containers of Mothers Ultimate 2 X $29.99 = $59.98 less 30% discount -$18 = $41.98

Obviously something to think about having a good supply of. I think I will do the same.
