Camping update,
I contacted a camp ground in Larel Springs, NC. Woodys.
They were a were a little vague on how large of camper they could accommodate. And said all their spots like that are sold for the whole year . Tent spots they did say you could park a bike trailer on them and camp like that . They also have vintage campers on site you can rent and stay in . It was $12.50 per person per night for tent spots and campers are $45 per night . They suggested contacting another camp ground - Miller's a mile away. Saying they have large camp spots. Who I have called a couple times this afternoon with no answers .

I switched up to this based on Jokers suggestion and it is closer to the one route I've listed .

I'll update tomorrow, comments are welcome .

Okay did some more research on "Millers" campground . Not open till April 1, so could be the explanation on no phone answers .
Shows 60+ campsites and tent spots .
Did say 3 day reservations needed for holiday weekends.

Want to get this resolved for those trying to align with Hotels ..

I'll keep working on it .

I sent a registration request with a outline on count and ask for a reply .

I'll try and call the 2 close hotels Station Inn and it's other location soon. I tried their website but it is not working properly to see if there are any rooms. If not, whoever is in a hotel (such as me, might be 20 or more away.)

To be honest -- for a holiday weekend we started this planning a little late for a known busy weekend.

Yeah, I agree.

Camping side of this seems a little difficult making connections .
My concern is once we find a spot your hotel arrangements are near by .

Miller's got back with me. They don't have a spot for past 34' available . Had 3 for under that . Gave me another contact .

My RV toyhauler is 31ft, long. I'm probably the shortest of the since I'm not a 5th wheeler.

So far, I think their are only possibly 3 of us coming with RV units.

Yeah,
This is my quest .
A. Find camp ground that can get the large units in and has space.
B. Lock in a spot .
C. Post on here contact info.
D. It will be up to each individual to secure there own reservation.

So that will become the probable base .
Unless someone else secures a better base point within the same area .

As far as everyone camping at the same campground . That would be nice but not absolutely needed . Just like hotel users stay of sight so can campers .

This seems like the best arrangement and gives everyone freedom when to commit .

Remember this is a holiday weekend.

I have moved to a third campground .. In trying to find accommodations for 40'RV's .

OK,
Have camp ground in Larel Springs that can get us in , see link below .

They can handle 40' toy haulers.

I have made my reservation .. going in Thursday the 23rd, checking out Memorial day the 27th .

It was $65+tax roughly per nite for 30Amp site. She said 40' sites are 50amp only.

They said they will try to keep us close together.

You need too make reservations asap due to holiday weekend if you want to be at the same camp ground .

Online registration has no place for comments. When they call back tell them your in the Ken Bennett party .

EZ Dog is also registering there .
