How often... really? Is what I thought when I kept hearing about a loose clutch hub nut until...WHAM!!! I've got a loose nut (yeah, that too but that's another story).
I finally got around to changing the fluids when I discover a loose clutch assembly... I have to admit, I stared at it for a while in disbelief.... it wasn't that way 4K plus miles ago! Well, I guess I'll be removing the primary cover for EVERY oil change.
Everything looks good except when I removed the clutch assembly the transmission seal began to leak....
Question...can I just R&R the seal in place or do I have to pull the transmission? This is like working on old plumbing... you work on one end of the pipe...it starts leaking on the other.
I move on island time but I've GOT to make it to Biketoberfest!!! Hmm, I guess If I start pushing now I might just make it in time....
