When you get the rest of that ruined belt off, can ya give us a good clear picture of the pulley ? Also, how are you aligning the wheel...

I'm only guessing here but you mention a fluid leak and suspect the transmission. I think you are using the incorrect term for the nut... -
Air impact will get it off for sure. The compensator is standard thread. The clutch hub nut is reversed.
