If you have a split tank the two halfs should be connected with a cross hose that keeps both sides at the same level. -

Carry a extra plug with you. When this happens just pull the rear plug wire use the spare plug to see if it is getting spark. Easy peasy. -

Check with BDL, see if their numbers will cross over
