WTB: charging system/regulator/stator

I need a regulator and stator for an 06 model. Figured it was worth a shot to see if anyone had anything laying around, before I spent the big bucks.

I have a VR, came off my 2006 Mastiff. Never has a problem with it. When BDM has a recall on VRs I took mine in and the dealer installed a 40 amp fuse in place of the CB. I later decided to change out the VR to a newer model. Make me a reasonable offer including shipping and it's yours

Ok, I called the Dealer. Not as bad as I thought. THe stator is $55, but they have two VRs. One that is $60 and one they said os "polarized" that is the new updated VR that is $152. They recommended the the $152 one of course. What do you guys think. Carlos, I am going to send you a PM.

I say spending a little more the first time makes it the last time!!!

...why fix it cheap three times and have more into it than doing it right the first time?

Yeah if you are buying the stuff I would go with an aftermarket setup.
