I looked into ordering a new one only to find BD discontinued it.

My wife got me one a few weeks ago(as if buying the bike for me wasnt enough)!:2thumbs: She was able to find one at Iron Lightning in OK. She just did a google search for the bag and called all the dealers until she found a dealer that had some in stock. Hope this info helps.

Yes they did discontinue these bags BUT will be back availible in MAY (I think it was) I was going to order these bags some but seeing as how I am impatient and wanted them now I ended up getting "T-Bags". Yes, Rosie at Iron Lightning helped me out alot here. As previously discussed with the bags they are not reinforced and if you dont fill them completely they will fold around the luggage rack. The same goes with the T-bags, but I am considering building a wire frame for the bag...kinda like a tent frame just to expand the bag so it is not all floppy. However T-bag does have some hardened bags, just not what I wanted to spend. I wanted to keep them under $200 and did. I am sure if you call Rosie or BikerBabe they can help you also but on the same note OUR sponsers coud help also.

You might look into a Saddleman. We bought one last year, before our trip.
It has a reinforced bottom, a detachable top-roll, and seems like a sturdy unit. 2500 mile trip last year, and the bag still looks great.:flag:

I bought the bag we have now, at our local Harley dealer.
I googled and found lots of sellers with prices around $135.00.
Ours is an "S2600"

Two zippers, starts at the top and zips down both sides. The bag has fairly good structure, so even with stuff in it and unzipped, it tends to keep it's shape.
