Thought I'd post this in the correct forum. I'm new to the BDM world and have been looking for a K-9 only for about 3 weeks now. I missed 2 bikes (one by my stupid mistake and one just too late to the game), that I definitely would have jumped on in this short time, so I know they're out there. So I wanted to can cast a wide net in my search- I'm looking for a BDM K-9 (may consider the right Chopper also). I'm looking for a pristine, low mileage, great paint, well-preserved, stock machine. I'm looking for the best one out there - I just started looking and missed 2 of them in the past 2 weeks so I know they're out there. If any come your way I'd appreciate it if you'd pass them on by private message. As far as budget, I'll say that the budget will handle the fair market value for what I'm looking for. I just need to find the machine. Here's an example below of what I'd jump on - unfortunately this one sold but the listing is still active. I'm getting real antsy to get on a real machine! Thank you!

I'm guessing I'm pretty close to you; I'm in Cocoa Beach. I've got my 2007 Chopper listed on FB.

The listing is about the extent of my efforts to sell it. Doesn't meet all of your criteria: 1) not stock; I had the heads zero decked, upgraded the cam, and poured $$ into it for other dumb stuff. 2) not pristine. While the milage is crazy low, my opinion, the quality of chrome on Big Dogs isn't great, and FL weather will take it's toll...even if in a garage.
Anyway, if you want to see it, hit me up. I agree with others though, you will find what you're looking for.

Chad - thanks for the offer. You are right - FL weather is tough on chrome, even in the garage. I've had my H-D garage stored here in Clearwater for 18 years - it's held up well but I have noticed a few very small marks on the chrome. Small, but noticeable. The H-D chrome seems to hold up extremely well, a few of the aftermarket parts not so well. I think the key here in FL is to store the vehicle as clean as possible. Florida's humidity is not the best conditions, and if you're close to the coast the salt air is a huge problem. Here, the gulf is mild compared to the east cost and it doesn't seem that the salt air affects as much as on the east coast. Also, I believe the heat in the garage caused my LED odometer to bleed - not too happy about that. I'll keep yours in mind - it's a nice looking bike and the upgrades were done well.

Yes, you have to post something like 20 times “kind of stupid rule” but it’s to deter some of the bs that was going on awhile back ??? You should see a letter icon on the top banner . That is how you pm

Got it, thank you. I've got the letter Icon up top but don't have the capability to msg yet - I only have 14 posts so I've got a few more to go!

I was planning to sell this 2006 soon if you are interested. Not super low mileage (I think 16K?) but in top shape, indoors/garage kept. It was my dad's. Had new cables/battery installed last summer and a tuneup. I have new BD OEM grips, BD sissy bar/backrest, kickstand and the extra seat for 2nd rider. Message me when you make the limit on posts. I'll tell you what I know about the bike.

Thank you BMF. It was a sentimental thing for me given it was my dad's bike. I just don't have the time to ride right now. I wish I did...too busy as I have a few more kiddos going through high school that I need to focus on first.

I also forgot to mention, I replaced all of the covers on the blinkers, front and rear tire are brand new, belt is brand new. It also has LEDs if that's your thing (back tire, middle, front tire).
