Still chasing an electrical gremlin on an 06 K9......have a couple of things to re-check but I really think its the EHC....

I am considering the Wire Plus Kit but may just go ahead and replace the EHC if I can get my hands on one quickly and reasonably......lmk

Thanks

As a last ditch effort check all the wire crimps at the battery for loose crimps which can cause erratic EHC behavior - recrimp or replace them - now mine works great!

On my 2nd - I found the issue (wiring in handlebar controls) so luckily no 3rd one needed, but the wire plus will be the way to go...

my factory unit literally burned out along with my battery and voltage regulator...added the 2nd unit and had indications of going bad, but it was wiring issue......

Hey Chris, what kind of problems you having? I just got through with starter/starting woes with mine. Pulled the starter, cleaned it all up & same bs, crank for 1 second, then the old horn/flashers would go. Changed the EHC unit & it fired right up & all seems well again. Shoot me an email & let me know, I also have a 06' K-9.
