KMW has been gracious enough to allow Wild Steed Worx to be a dealer and support center for their EHC RIP KIT.
If your having trouble with your EHC or you need to replace it WSW has got you covered.

Questions for you Curtis. For those of us that may have went Wireplus, M-unit, etc... and removed our stock connector, will this kit work? I know it's supposed to be plug and play - what if we don't have the "plug" anymore? Pictures appear as if it comes with a harness, just want to be sure...

Thanks!

EDIT: I read more carefully and answered my own question. Comes with the backbone harness. Sooo, next question. If we have changed some of our plugs to a different type, and have to cut any of the stock EHC RIP kit plugs to match, does that void the warranty?

KMW will custom make kits for the 03 on request but this is where I change directions. 2003 and down have the Thunderheart EHC, albeit the 2003 has some slight mods and is a knock off but those are easy to reverse. I would not recommend switching from what you have as it is a durable reliable setup. WSW has anyone needing the older Thunderherat EHC covered. If you have questions about it just give us a call 619-823-8557.

I would have to say it absolutely voids the warranty.
I have trouble understanding why people are steering away from the JST connectors in favor of Deutsch etc. While it is a little more delicate it is a quality connector and takes up a lot less space. I use them and will continue to use them as I know they are a good choice for custom bikes with limited space.
A system is designed in a specific manner for a specific use and as such is warrantied to cover that design. If a purchaser/owner then modifies that design to their taste wouldn't it make sense that you, being the new designer, would then accept responsibility for that design change?

My strong recommendation would be to change those connectors back to match the systems connectors and not vice versa.

I had assumed as much. To be honest I didn't switch to any connector. I've soldered in most of my connections during my numerous electrical system changes. I didn't have connectors handy and wasn't willing to pay the buy in price for Deutsch. Always planned on getting set up with connectors once I found the electrical solution I was happy with, maybe this will be it.

Thanks!

Great News

Way to go Curtis
I will keep this in mine. Hopefully would not need it. It is on the top of the list if I do need one again. Keep up the great work. :flag: :2thumbs:

RETIRED
I still have the ehc from my 07 Bulldog as a spare and had it checked out by Curtis and it tested all good. I wish the RIP kit would have popped up before the wire plus. Knock on wood, no problems since installing the wire plus, but it was a pain in the ass to install.

I bought one of those (WP) from Jake as a back up and it's still sitting in my BD parts cabinet. :bang::lol:
