Hi Guys, I need a bit of advice please.
In the seven years I've had my bike the clutch has always been very, shall we say, moveable and quite often finding neutral is a real bitch. I've had it serviced three times by three different shops and each time I've asked them to look specifically at the clutch and three times I've been told 'it's fine, Baker boxes are just like that'. The issue is that I constantly have to adjust the clutch tension, so I go for a ride one day and it's fine, really smooth, easy to pull, the changes are soft and finding neutral is pretty easy. The next day I take the bike out again and it's stiff, gear changes are hard and I cannot find neutral to save my life. So I stop, tighten the top adjustment in the photo up a turn and it's back to being great again. I'm assuming the clutch tension is just slackening off as I ride but I can't figure out how to stop it doing so.
Attached is a picture of my adjustment, which doesn't look right to me but what do I know? Any thoughts please?
