Wire plus 2004 pitbull wiring harness

This is going to sound crazy but I am trying to figure out how to connect the tach wire from a 2004 pitbull wiring harness that uses wire plus.
Not sure if it’s even possible? I have been looking at the schematics from the service manual and the wire plus. I may have to go another direction with the wiring.
I have the pdm I received from Doug but I am not sure if it’s going to mount in the pitbull battery tray.

After looking at the wire plus wiring diagram. The green wire coming off the thunder heart ignition looks to be for tach. On my wire plus harness the green wire is connected to a yellow wire that goes to the “not used” key ignition. I wonder if I run the yellow wire to the annunciator if that will add the tach function to the harness?

I'm thinking you are correct. The tach function will have to come from a triggered source. With the RIP1 that spare connection was done away with so I'm going to try that myself and pickup the yellow wire from the thunderhart ignition module and a switched hot for the analog tach I'm going to add. I would think the annunciation tach should be the same.

You shouldn’t need a switched hot, the annunciator connection has the red “power” included. Unless I am miss reading your post. Or are you adding a separate tach?

Yes I'm trying to add the analog tach that was a option at that time.

I do not have the tach ring like the newer ones. It is like your spilt tank with speedometer only and the indicator below it.
