I am really at a loss. My bike is a 01 prosport tp107, it started cranking over
really slow so I replaced the battery. New battery does the same thing and the + cable gets hot when I crank it over so I check all my connections and grease
them. Other members suggest that if it's not a bad connection it must be the
starter so I get a new one and it's still doing the same thing. Battery will bounce
back to green on the tender but only rolls the bike over 2 or 3 times. I have
noticed that the red LED on the start module never comes on. Could that be the
problem? The only wiring I haven't checked is by the EHC which is between my
split tanks. I just did the top end and got to hear it run once before my starter
problems. Can I take the ground from my starter solenoid and go straight
to my - post instead of the start module? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
