Wiley X Glasses

I just had to give a huge shout out to Wiley X glasses and more importantly their support team.

I've owned a couple pair of their glasses and they've always worked out well and a nice balance between price, comfort, and safety. Earlier this year, I broke one of the temples. Called them to find out how much it would cost to get replacements and they said nothing, we'll just send you some and then asked what glasses I had, etc. A couple days later they arrived and worked perfectly. These glasses in particular were 2+ years old and not under any warranty. To top things off, last week I dropped another pair and some weighty objects fell on top of them as well and broke the frame. Again I called them to see how much it would cost fix and replace. They gave me an RMA # to send the glasses to and asked to include a $9 check. I also asked them to please rush my order as I wanted these glasses for an upcoming trip. They called me as soon as they received them and said everything will be taken care of and I will definitely have them returned before my trip. Today I received them back and low and behold they sent me a completely new pair of glasses with case and accessories. This saved from replacing scratched lenses, etc. this winter. How's that for taking care of their customers?

Anyway, long story short... Wiley X service is TOP NOTCH. I never expected them to replace or even warranty anything (being the age of my glasses), much less swap out my old ones for a new pair. I just feel companies like this should get some props. They definitely have my business for life and thought I should pass on these experiences to others.

I also have had very good luck with Wiley X and will continue to do buisness with the. Like jkd, I had a frame break on mine last year and called them and they sent me a new frame at no cost. Was even more appreiciated since my Willey X have presciption inserts lenes and I do not want to have to go pay for the high cost of buying two new sets of rx lens, so them keeping me going as been very much appreicated.

Same here, I was issued them while in the military. One of my lens broke, I called them and asked if they had replacements. They sent me a new lens at no charge. I couldn’t agree more, they’re a very good company.

I am in Afghanistan and accidently stepped on mine. No fault of thiers and they hooked me up. I used to wear Raybans and they would do the sam thing. On the other hand I wear Costa Del Mars for fishing and general wear in FL. Love the glasses and if you get what they call polarization wear the the lenses start faiding around the edges, they will replace with new glasses, but one time I had a lense fall out and crack. They said their frames where warantied but not the lenses. Even though it was a faulty frame that caused the lense to fall out, I had to pay $70...almost half of what the glasses cost.

You are right WileyX knows how to treat their costomers! And they will continue have my business.

Same for me. My Wiley Xs are prescription and I have owned many prescription sunglasses but these are by far the best I have owned, especially for motorcycle riding. Mine have the strap that connects to the glasses and they have the foam "goggle" insert that easily goes in and out. I hate to say never, but I doubt I will ever try another brand.
