who knows how much it will deliver?

I am planning to get the 585 cam from S&S or Wood installed for my 117 cui in a 06 Mastiff, porting the channels, stronger springs, owning the pistons, work on the valves.
Currently running a big radius from V&H and a K&N forcewinder aircleaner and a shorty G carburator.
Has anyone a clue what difference it will make to the original set up?
What is the gain?

i take it you are porting the heads, honing the cylinders, and maybe new rings on pistons? im having this done right now so i cant tell you...YET. how many miles on motor...

Hi Stratege ,

I cannot find a Woods cam that really fits our engines - plus 630 or less than 585:
Designer Cams
Cannot find other EVO cams there.

Be carefull with the choice of cams.

If you go with higher compression a lot of people here are happy with the S&S 600 cam. But it will perform at higher rpms than the 585.
