whining noise

Hey guys

When I take off from a stop and or decelerating I hear a high pitched whining noise. Not sure if it is coming from the belt drive or the exhaust pipes. I recently went to the big city thunder monster baffles, but they weren't making that noise after install so I'm thinking it may be something with the drive belt? Anyone have any ideas or maybe having/had the same problem? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

when you say belt drive, are you meaning the final belt drive on the rear wheel, or do you have a belt drive primary on the left side of the motor????? need more info!!!!

could it be the brakes dragging because they DO whine because of the drilling.

Lift the bike off the ground and spin the wheels and listen for any wheel bearing noise or other high pitched whining noise.

brake noise is heard mostly when brakes are applied (probably because they are not tapered) but could also be sounding off due to pressure not releasing fully. maybe someone used a fluid other than DOT 5 and the hoses are swollen on the inside not allowing the fluid to release properly. ????????????????
