Whine and vibration when starting

I posted this to technical but no response. Everyone seems to congregate here.

2005 Chopper - lately when starting I am getting a kind of whine. Now that whine includes a vibration. It starts but does not sound good doing it. Ideas appreciated.

Ifn it was me, i'd pull the primary cover for a check up. Could be any number of items.

Sometimes, but then it starts up and runs fine.
