I'm thinking of taking a few days to go off on the bike. I need a good destination within two days ride of Georgia. Suggestions?

Yeah, it's quit rainy in the southeast right now. Just finished raining here. But maybe it'll be cleared up in about two weeks or so when I can take off.

What part of Florida?

Don't know what part of Georgia you are in, but heading up to the Ashville, NC area isn't a bad ride and great riding in that area. Guess it boils down to you comfort level of distances.

Asheville is cool. I've rode through there a few times and went to Overland Expo there. I plan to take the adventure bike to the next Overland Expo.

Distance doesn't bother me. I put in 400 miles the day I got the Big Dog (200 there on the Ducati and 200 back on the Pitbull). I could put in more in a day if the ride is entertaining enough.

Well, if mileage doesn't bother you draw a 500 mile radius form you place in Georgia and I'm sure you could find a lot of interesting riding in the circumference. Good luck on your trip which ever way you decide to head.
