Hey Ya'll getting a new trailer for the dog soon and began thinking about wheel chocks. Any one particular that works well for our bikes that you'd recommend.
Also do you center your bike in the trailer when hauling just one bike? Thanks.
Condor w/chopper wheel lock (to clear the fender). I have both the aluminum model (which can be used freestanding and the steel model trailer chock. Both will hold the bike up without helper for strapping em down. Trailer steel model is a bit cheaper of course.
I don't run 'em centered in trailer when hauling only one.
Pulled the two Pingel chocks that were originally in my 6x12 trailer and now use a Condor chock in the center. I have the Condor pit stop chock with a regular cradle and a chopper cradle for the Mastiff
Well thanks guys. I found this one too but not sure if the retaining bar would clear the back of our low front fender. Anyone have one of these? Just curious. Thanks again for the input.
Dont know about that one but read instructions. The Condor said to use the # 1 setting. I'm glad i didn't. I use the # 2 setting and you should be fine Condor Products Online Store Also, i have cargo buckles. takes me 2 minutes to load my bike and go. www.cargobuckle.com I saw the video of yours and didn't like tying down the seat. Go with the chopper chock 1500 and you will have no worries
Yeah guys I appreciate the info will definitely go with what has proven to work best with our bikes. Just saw the other WheelDock deal and was curious about it. Will spend the extra $100 for the Condor. Thanks for the pic Bigron.
Oh and yeah Iman i saw how they put the straps across the seat that was something I wouldn't do, no matter what chock I buy.
