I use the Condor chopper chock. The chopper chock won't hit your front fender when it flips up. It is close to $300 but well worth it.I can't remember if i bought it off of Mcgroom or Maddog on this site. You just drive in and get off your bike. Then you can strap it down. A one man operation. I used a regular wheel chock that came with my trailer and found my bike laying against the wall of the trailer. The welds broke on the chock. No more cheaping out.

bought my chocks from harbor freight for $69 each. did require some minor cutting on the piece that flips up to secure the wheel, but comes with a cross bar to ratchet down. check them out.

I purchased one (Harbor Freight) about 2 years ago and it just didn't work for me. Like you said, the piece that flips up needed to be altered and I'm not sure I would have been satisfied with it even if I altered it. I really wanted it to work, especially for the price. I only paid $49.00 for mine, but I had to return it the next day.

Don't get me wrong, I like Harbor Freight. I have the yellow jack and swear by it. But, when it comes to the chock, I think I'm gonna go with the Condor.

On a side note.....if you go with the Condor Chopper chock move the cradle pin to the second hole, This will keep the cradle from hitting your fender when you lock in.

No need to spend $300 bucks. Most any chock that doesn't flip up in back will work fine. Pull in, strap the bike down and forward, and you're done.
You should be able to fine one for less than $50

Really...... It's called "your acting like a jerk". If you don't like or agree, move on. It takes longer to leave a smart a$$ response than to just answer the question.

The "search" function leaves a lot to be desired. This kinds BS is not needed here.
