I have a 07 K9 that I bought used. It had 5000 miles. Now I have around 7500. I've added Vance & Hinds big radius pipes, re-jetted carb, and added a K&N filter. I would like to change out the cam to a .585v, but since I bought it used. I don't know if it still has the stock cam. I wouldn't have any doubts but the hand that had it before me tried to modify the stock exhaust and had two jet sizes larger on the intermediate than what big dog recommended for the big radius setup. I don't want to order until I'm sure what I have. My question is can I just remove the cam cover to see what size cam is installed? If so do I have to loosen the pushrods to remove the cover. Thanks in advance.
