Ok,
Thought I would drop a few lines concerning my experience with these ladies from Okalahoma that share time on this great forum.
I have a subscritption to "Thunder Roads of Oklahoma/Arkansas" which is owned. published and edit by our own TSDAWG aka Terri.
Got my most recent issue (Vol 8 Issue 2 Oct 2009) and the main theme is Wicked Women of Biking. Terri did a great job as she has since taking the helm of this Magazine and this issue was very good. Some good stories in it including a nice interview with Reba McClanahan of Myers-Duren HD (one of the oldest in the country).
Great read as well as the other stories and I am jealous that I am not in the area to see the Fox show with Geneva.
Terri has done a great job and I now fully understand whey she is not on here as much as she used to be. Way too busy hitting the hot spots of OK/AR and partying out with folks like Jim Dandy of Black Oak Arkansas.
Her mag was a nice item to get while back in the sandbox and I thank her for sending such. Now during my time back on US terra ferma, I enjoy the read and make sure the pages get plenty of use and once done, I send to a bud in Afghanistan to make sure some of our men and women in uniform can get a smile reading and dreaming about the open road when they get back.
If you some of you want a good cheap read to go with the collection and also see what keeps TS busy, recommend to shoot her a subscription app and sit back and enjoy.
Then there is our own Biker Babe. Never met the lady and hopefully one of these days, I can. But from reading her post, seeing what she allows us to see, I must say BB comes off as one special person. A person that would be a pleasure to share the road with, share a cold one and some stories, etc.
When BB post a picture and she is in it, I must say that a smile seems to come easily to my face. BB is one beautiful looking lass, but more important, her photos always seem to show a very happy person that enjoys life to the fullest.
One of these days I hope to be able to meet both of these Okalahoma ladies, maybe share some miles on the flatlands and who knows, learn a thing or two.
Do not know much about Oklahoma, but from my impression of these two, must be some very good people there.
Hope to see TS and BB around here for a long time as well as many others of the good folks, be they from Oklahoma or timbuktu.
