What is that little red light on my dash?

For those of you who don't know..it's an oil light. When it comes on, shut your bike off, or this is what happens. Somebody forgot to tell this poor fella with the 2000 Vintage Sport with what was a TP 107" motor.

I would say she needs new rings

I had a 1000 highmark 2 stroke snowmobile with a 161" track do the same thing. Oil injector went out at 11,000 ft in the Colorado mtn's. So when we rebuilt the motor I took the injection out and just started mixing oil/gas. My son grabbed the wrong gas can one day and melted it all over again. NOT GOOD.

Lol! Yeah, new rings will fix her right up...Actually there's very little in this engine that's salvageable. The breather gear bore is busted all to hell, so even the engine cases are worthless. We see crazy stuff like this all the time, but this is this the worst case I've ever seen, so I thought I'd share it on the forum.

That gasket doesn't look too bad.... are you sure that motor can´t do another 100 K Miles?
