What clutch are you running

I have a BDL open primary with a ball bearing lock up clutch. Got a little getting use to but damn ! When it engages the harder the motor turns the harder this bitch bites.

Just finished putting an EFM clutch in my 06 K9 but I am still setting it up.
I got a killer deal on it used from a forum member, I'm sorry but my old ass can't remember who it was.
Just a slight drag so I have to pick up 6 more wave washers to finish the adjustment. Since I bought it used I didn't get the extra wave washers.
However the initial testing is making me drool to get out and run her. A wonderfully big side effect of the EFM auto clutch is the near zero clutch pull with my hydraulic clutch, I imagine due to how it operates a cable is the same way.

Where did you buy your BDL open drive? I can find Baker and Karata, but not BDL for the Big Dog.

I love the lock up on the BDL! It took a little getting use to but damn it ain't slipping!

After my stock clutch basket grenaded, I upgraded to the new Primo Pro Drag Clutch and basket setup,a little more $ than I wanted.........BUT when I got it,I knew why....the basket is HUGE and a forged 1 piece unit,clutch pack is massive.........installed it and adjusted clutch,serviced primary a few times to flush out any break in material,never had a problem since.........been like 2 years since that:2thumbs:...knock on wood

stock 12-plate combined with the 9-plate-ramps, the result is a reducing of power fromm 11.5kg to 7kg

Stock 'easy-pull' with absolutely no problems for 2 years, then switched to Baker Open Primary. I have had absolutely no problems with either clutch system, but the belt drive clutch is considerably harder to pull than the factory clutch.
