I agree with Tapiok. It could be too much oil in the crankcase. If it were in Ohio I would go look at it,offer him half that and negotiate a deal. It would make a good daily driver.

But more importantly -- what the hell is on the downtubes that sticks out sideways on that thing? one side looks like a stirrup and the other side looks like a piston -- or are my eyes completely shot?

Looks like cowboy highway pegs. Actually it looks like stirrups on an exam table.

Seems like you know all about them and don't use you're medical experience as an excuse. I have never seen one in an EMT truck.

Chub's has some mounted on his recliner since he retired, he claims they are there for something to do with circulation in his legs.:oldlaugh:

Several years ago, we got a new doctor in the E R and couldn't resist . I got up on the table with a pillow on my belly, feet in the stirrups, and they put a sheet completely covering me. They told the Doc that they had an emergency delivery and needed him "STAT". He rushes into the room, but says he won't do anything till he actually talks to the Pt. He pulled the sheet back and I just gave him my best smile. All he could do is stand there and say "Dumbasses" For the longest time, everyone in the E R walked around whistling "having my baby" That Doc didn't last long before he left ! :oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:
