Not my wife on the back either....

This just started, but when I am cruising and I let off the gas, I get this whining noise. Can't tell where from but when I hit the gas it goes away. It's not a belt chirp as it continues to whine until I get to about 5 mph then goes away. When I take off, no noise. let off the gas, whine, hit the gas, no whine.

Ideas?

check to see if it could be coming from your front/rear brake rotor. if it is, it's normal due to the holes drilled in the rotors.

Just for the hell of it I would jack up the rear and check to see if there is any play on the wheel. I had something similar happen to me years ago, it would make a screeching or whining noise when I turned left only, it was ok turning right and going straight It was my rear bearing screeching for help. :old2:
