Weber dies

Well I lost my long time battle with the weber yesterday. I had some fuel dripping from out of the venturi screws and decided to snug it up. So I put a small 8mm wrench on it and hear a crack and I say that did not sound good! Well that was a $1000 setup gone to shit.I will call weber tomorrow and see if they will do anything. Either way its coming off because I am tired of tuners blaming everything on the carb.

No hell no. Its not that I don't think that the concept is great its that I've been down this road too many times with something "new". If I put that carb on my bike and tried to get it dialed in the first thing that any tuner would say is that carb aint worth a shit. Unfortunately unless your a great technician with the resources we sometimes are held back by the caveman attitudes that this industry seem to be in abundance of. Maybe thats why harley does so well. Don't get me wrong pops I was thinking hard about that carb but it looks like its back to the G carb that everyone else has and knows how to work with.

Do you still have your G?
Hope you get it all back together and get some seat time.
