I just wanta ride
First of all because of the forum I was able to trouble shoot my problem. Thanks for having this forum. Yes taking a short vacation over the Labor Day weekend. I rode the dog from Morganton, NC to Myrtle Beach with out any problems other than the usual traffic. The next morning starting whipping the bike down getting ready for the ride with the wife. After about 5 hours of ridding we had stopped to do some shopping. When got back to the bike I tried to start and all I got was click click click click click very fast. I didn't panic. I just started to rule out some simple items. Then there it was the plug for the charging system was unpluged. Damn it had not charged the battery and drained it. I had taken to Advance auto to load test and yep it was no longer able to charge. After purchased a new battery I had to pay cab to and from bike to purchased a new Harley battery and bam on the road again. I know this is long but because of reading past forum threads I knew I would find and be able to fix this. Ready to enjoy the rest of the vacation. :up:
