Where do you put your inspection and county stickers? I have a butt ugly metal plate attached where my lic. plate is for the inspection, and I was just told by some flunky at the county office that I need to put the county sticker on my fork tube. There is no f#%&!n way I'm putting a sticker on my chrome that has to be scraped off. Does anyone have a better solution?

Thanks

I got a plate like Purpledog. Located behind the kick stand. We finally got rid of county stcikers but before we did I put it on the opposite side of the inspection plate. (had to look thru the wheel to see it.

This is my current insp. plate, and I can't stand it. And I still need to find a spot for the county sticker. Maybe I'll just stick the county sticker on the back of this POS until I find a better place for all of them.

Inspection sticker is on a plate behind the passenger footpeg. Unfortunately, I live in Loudoun County which still requires county stickers so I have mine on the left fork. Given the current economic state, I would make sure that if you have to display a sticker that it is easy to point out to the police. Twenty years ago I got pulled over for not having my county sticker on the left fork (I had it on the right fork) and got a verbal warning, probably because I lived in a different county. It is almost time for the local cops to start their license, registration, and county sticker checks again

Use to have it on a plate mounted to the voltage regulator in the center....stopped displaying one two years ago. Been pulled over three times since then -- nothing said about the lack of a sticker.

Baldie.....You can't see it real good in this pic, but I bought a really cool, chrome tribal plate at the local Harley shop and mounted it right under my pipes, just i front of the rear wheel. I used a bolt on the pipe bracket. Fairly invisible when riding.!! I'll do aa better pic if it'll help. What part of VA you reside???

your about a half an hour south of dc let me know your schedule

about the stickers I JUST DONT RUN THEM. 5.0 never looks. same on all of my bikes.

Only ticket I ever got was when an over zealous meter maid gave me one for an expired inspection.

I also use it to get out of tickets by asking if they can give me a ticket for anything else but speeding.... cut me a break..... worked once but that all it has to work .

When I lived in Va I fab'd my own plate that fit behind the kickstand like V eluded to. I no longer live in VA and if you need the plate I would be glad to send it to you. All I ask is that you pay the shipping.......
