Vintage Sport rear fender?

My bike came with the "chameleon" flame paintjob, and while it looks nice, I was never really excited about the color. I do, however, want to keep the original tins in factory form in case the bike ever needs to be sold. I've found a gas tank and front fender that will be suitable, but I'm not sure where to go about finding a proper-fitting rear fender for it. If possible, I would like a factory-style fiberglass piece so I can reuse the original tail light and whatnot, as well as knowing that it's going to fit.

Can anyone direct me to where I might find one? Also, if they are no longer in existence, can anyone tell me where I might find a different fender that will fit this bike?

Try Bigdogpartsking also a Harley soft tail fender may work. I am not sure on that though.

I understand why you want to keep the factory parts but in all honesty I doubt that those origional parts would add any value to the bike when you sell it.

I agree, within a week of buying my bike I painted it, not a fan of flames myself, well some styles are cool as to where others are just out right ridiculous and can ruin a bike.. jmo.. but back to the point, sadly these things are depreciating rapidly and not holding value very well.

Not to sound like a prick or anything, but I was asking about where to source a fender, not asking about resale value with the factory paint. I don't plan on selling the bike, I want to paint and install a new set of tins on the bike I ride.

What is the distance between your fender support braces? You will need that and the radius. Then keyword search for some blanks. I have a 250 rear tire, 11" between fender supports. Here is what I will be buying if I can't chop up the ones I have now to fit. Not saying this is the best or cheapest but it will give you a starting point.

Mine is also fiberglass, but I can't seem to find an original fiberglass fender and don't know enough about fiberglass to make one without it looking like it'd been set on fire and put out with a ballpeen hammer. As a result, I figured my next best option would be to get a steel fender.

Thank you, I may end up going this route. Mine is 9" between supports (I believe, will have to re-measure because I've forgotten), so this may work.
