velvatouch lifters?

Never heard of them but it makes "cince". We use oil pressure to pump up the lifter. The stonger the valve spring pressure the more it takes to get full lift of the cam. I think:confused:

Stories good, I'd do more due diligence on them first. With no preload I'd wonder about noise in different scenarios. You may as well run a solid lifter. You would be adjusting these more often........

Comp. Cams ...V-Thunder division sold them in the '90s for Evo's,etc.
I used some.
About a month ago,a customer dropped off an Evo Softail to pick up the power some.It had Velva Touch lifters,and I called V-Thunder for some info.They don't handle them anymore.
FWIW,I never had any issues with them other then the occasional weeping from the lower(Shovelhead style) pushrod tubes.Never found any magic in them either.:eek:
Adjustment is a turn and a half.
