Vance & Hines Big Radius 2 into 2 on a 2010 K9....

I've finally decided to get a set of these nice sounding pipes to step up the sound on my K-9. I have looked just about everywhere and I've found that after 2008 V & H discontinued making this particular pipe. I have however found several good deals where I can get these pipes new, but they are from 2008. I called a few places that still have these pipes, but the people I spoke with on the phone cannot gaurentee that they fit my bike. I'm pretty sure they would as a 2010 must almost be identical to a 2008. Does anyone out there know for sure ? I'd hate to make the purchase and not have them fit perfect or have some kind of issue. Thank you so much. BTW the way I've owned this bike now for 2 months and it is by far the nicest machine I've ever owned.

Well I just called Vance and Hines and was told that they will not work due to placement of an oxygen sensor. The 2009 and 2010 models are slightly different than a 2008 and thus will not work. The person mentioned that I'm not the first to call and inquire about this. What a bummer. I can't believe I'm going to be stuck with the crappy stock exhaust on such a beautiful bike. Maybe there are some other options.

Try calling Bikers Dream in Atlanta, they had V&H 2-2 pipes in stock, also is your bike an EFI or carb. I don't understand what the oxygen sensors have to do with it unless your bike is efi

Most of the V&H 2-2 pipes are not to much different on the 07 and up models, we just modified a set of V&H 2-1 pipes for a Ridgeback to fit on my 07 Mastiff, wasn't that difficult.

If you want to discuus it, PM me with your number

Hey Aspen thanks for the response. The bike is carborated. I called V & H and they said these pipes will be fine on a 2008 carborated K9, but cannot comment on a 2010 because they have never tested them on anything newer than a 2008. From what I know about these bikes so far, I'm assuming 2010 carborated model would be indentical to a 2008.

The pipes I bought had oxygen sensors and I just plugged them, you can buy the plugs from any Harley dealer, they screw in and once you have the pipes on the bike you can't see them.

I don't think there is any difference for 07 and up as for as fitting

Thank you everyone for the help. The shop that is going to be servicing my bike mainly works on Harleys, but also works on custom bikes as well. Ill be sure to pass this information onto them about plugging the 02 sensor holes. Thanks again :)

They definitely fit. Mine is EFI, so I needed the O2 sensors, but you can certainly plug them. I know a lot of people have them, but I sure as hell like mine.

I think the V&H pipes look great and sound awsome too. They really make the bike.
It kinda sucks that almost everyone switches to the Big Radious pipes.Nice to have a different look than other Dogs.
BDM should have used them as stock equipment. I wouldn't put anything else on my bike !
Let us know how you make out .
