Nice looking vest. Thank you for serving.

Please don't take what I'm about to say as any dis-respect at all to you or the Marines or any branch of the service.

My only concern would be with the outlaw clubs. I'm no expert on the actual protocol, but those are Bandido colors, and I'm not sure how they would react seeing a 3 piece vest with those colors. I'm just saying to please be careful. I have 4 major clubs in my area, and we have to be careful even wearing support shirts. We have the 81, AOA, Diablos, and Devils disciples all in a 50 mile area.

Good news is, I don't think they are in your area. I can tell you that they stopped the Patriot Guard from wearing there colors that were too close to the bandido's in a few states in the mid west.

Uh, they can go fuck themselves? I'm going to venture to guess that 1) there are more Marines and 2) a whole lot more Marines who legally carry (unlike most club idiots who have a list of priors).

Totally understand your point @Bmarchant

@PacoPetty thank you for your service, and I'd be the first to drop a club moron who thought your colors were conflicting with theirs. Last time I checked, your colors don't run!

First time poster..new member here, thought this would be the post to say hello. Just bought my first BD. A K9...still waiting to meet her. Coming from dealer in Texas. Been on 2 wheels about 28 years now but this is the bike I am most excited about ever. Like a kid waiting for Xmas morn. Anyway, miltary, law enf...for now I'm going to shut my face and read posts but wanted to say hello. Oh and yes...Club problems with colors?? Lol, they can stuff it up their ass. We have quite a bit of club influence around here too but they are all pretty cool. (Detroit Area). SEMPER Fi, Cary.

Hey USMC03 - As BB said, thank you for your service. Enjoy the Big Dog, they are a lot of fun.

Bike clubs can be funny when it comes to stuff like this.

Thank you for the information. I also have an MC patch that is supposed to go to the upper right of the lower rocker but I did not put it on because I did not want to offend any local clubs. These colors belong to the United States Marine Corps long before there were bicycles let alone motorcycles so I will wear them anywhere I damn well please. I don't anticipate or invite trouble but I will deal with that obstacle when it presents itself. Again, I do appreciate the information because I also ride in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Semper Fi

Well..bandidos colors are actually reversed. Red Lettering on a yellow background. Plenty of them around Texas.

Quite honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the color scheme was adopted from the marines to begin with.

I'm sure there are some bad apples in the bunch just like everyone but I haven't met them yet.
