Upgrades for 2009 Wolf

With the demise of BDM and the remaining year of my warranty, I decided to do some performance upgrades a year early. A S&S 128 big bore kit, VFI module, and 569 easy start cams were ordered from S&S in May. Once the engine was torn down I decided to have the heads CNC ported by S&S. The big bore kit, VFI module, and heads are already installed on the bike. I'm still waiting on the cams. If S&S delivers the cams when promised, I should have the bike running by the end of the week:whoop: I had the bike on the dyno before the upgrade 85hp and 98 torque. When I get some time on the engine, I'll have the VFI module fine tuned on the dyno. Good or bad I'll post the numbers somtime in July.

I was told they were in stock when when all the other parts were ordered, not the case. I'm now being told they are waiting on a production run (6-13-11)

Got my bike back Saturday. Cams weren't available until 6-22-11. Its going to take a while to get some time on this before I hit the Dyno. Its been to damn hot to ride in Phoenix (114 degrees).

Part numbers

S&S part #s for the cylinder is 910-0003 and the piston is 920-0003. It will take the 121 X Wedge to a 128. Fairly new items. I think they became available around February or March.

Glad she's back on the road....how do you like the EZ start cams?

I had easy start cams in the bike before. I had a cam failure at 1700 miles and S&S repaired the engine by replacing the stock cams with the easy start cams. Only way to go.
