I was wondering if any has gotten the engine up grade from cycle city in king sport, tn? Also anyone have the thunder heart ignition system? They mention of adding that and bandit clutch to the engine upgrade.

Howie, I did the Thunder Heart ignition on my Mastiff, it was well worth the money in my opinion.

I would look at the 585 cam upgrade, along with carb and air intake. Those are all worth the money and easy to install. I personally went with the XXX carb and the Dual runner intake and ignition. the bike pulls hard.

I got the whole nine yards done at Cycle City. First had the heads done, compression increased and 600 cam installed when bike was new. With this combo the stock clutch would slip without getting on the throttle much. A few weeks ago I had the thunderheart ignition and bandit clutch installed by the guys at Cycle City. All I can say is Holy Shit! When Duane told me the ignition was the missing link to the motor upgrades he was 100% correct. The stock clutch will never handle the upgrades so you may as well get the Bandit at the same time. Well worth the down time and money if you want your bike to be one bad ass Big Dog! And Duane and his crew at Cycle City know their shit and know what these bikes need to put the power to the pavement. Go for it and tell Duane Dan from PA recommended their work.
