I think 2 of the better ones from what I have read on here are the Thunder Heart and Dyna.
Ray, do you have the thunderheart self programable and if so, has it been easy to use with your laptop?Remaining with the crank sensor you are then left with the Thunderheart or the S&S. I think I will be going with the Thunderheart also. I don't want to mess with a cam sensor.

No, I still have the stock unit but if I upgrade I think I will do the programmable Thunderheart since it would be pretty much a dirrect swap.
HDLarry did the S&S one and he's pretty happy with it.
You running a crank sensor on yours or the cam sensor type?
Cam sensor on my red custom, but the K-9 project 117 has the crank sensor (but no ignition at the moment). I may go the HD wiring way I did on the red chop since so far it seems trouble-free (It is the 107 with Crane Hi-4).No, I still have the stock unit but if I upgrade I think I will do the programmable Thunderheart since it would be pretty much a dirrect swap.
