Hey what's up everyone heres my story I took the bike apart to get a bunch of parts chromed and in that process I pulled the motor out of the bike I didnt remove the oil pump from the Motor I installed the motor back in the bike replaced the all the old oil lines with new ones and routed them the same as they were on the bike before I seen people said when replacing the oil lines you need to prime the oil pump so I took ball and the spring of the pump filled the pump and reinstalled the cap took the spark plugs out and cranked over the motor to verify that I was gettin flow I took the return line off at the filter housing and cranked the motor over till the battery went low on me and still didn't oil to come out how long does it take for the oil to start to come out of the return or is there something else I need to do any help would be appreciated thanks 2006 mastiff is the bike I'm having the issue with!!

oil should come out pretty quickly- no need to disconnect oil lines, just leave the oil filter off and it should pump out the outer ring of filter housing. i suppose the pump could not have primed correctly- hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in- good luck hope you get 'er running-
