Troop Supporter 2011

With the calendar sales under way, the Troop Supporter program is also open again. This is a means to donate some extra dough to buy additional calendars for our troopers in a war zone.

Right now they will be going to our very own member Ba19 who is serving in Afghanistan, and he'll be sharing them with those he serves honorably with. :flag:

I'm looking at another source to send calendars to, trying to ensure these service members are in a war zone and could use hot bikes and hotter woman as a way to escape the reality of being away from home and facing danger daily.

We'll run this program through the Xmas so we can get the calendars out around the first of the New Year.

There are two donation options and I've had a few members express the desire to donate more... if this is you, send me a PM and we'll get things arranged.

I had a question asked and felt I should answer it here also to add clarity to this program...

I put two options up, 10 and 25. I'll be able to buy the calendars in bulk, which brings the price down to around $13 a piece if I remember right. I'll add my donation along with covering all shipping costs, I do this so every penny donated goes to buying calendars and not shipping.

The donation options are there for those you maybe tight on money but want to give and those who can give a little more. Our forum software is set-up for subscriptions so the 13 months is how long the "Troop Supporter" banner will be displayed under your screen name. I went with 13 months so those that donate in early December 2010 will have the banner displayed until Jan of 2012.

Also, some have expressed interest to donate more then what is available, you can contact me directly to make a donation and we'll work out the details.

I've decided that Dec 28th will be the closing date to join this program. So far, so good but we can always use one more donation to add another calendar. If you would like to donate, please do it soon. Thanks everyone. :flag:
